re: Required Raiding Mods

Core requires a raiding member to have 2 mods and Ventrilo installed in order to be considered raid-ready. Below are the links to the required mods and installations:
(1) Ventrilo
http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php
(the vent server info and password is found ingame under the guild information tab)
The addons below can be found on Curse Forge or WoWAce:
http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/
http://www.wowace.com/addons/
(2) Deadly Boss Mods or BigWigs
(3) A threat meter - Omen Threat Meter is fine
Optional but Suggested:
The Bidder addon that works with our Raid Tracker comes from Wow Interface
(4) Bidder
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=21576
This one is optional, but very useful - if you choose not to use it, you will need to check the website under "Dkp" http://coreguild.guildlaunch.com/rapid_raid/members.php?gid=11036&ts=1:2 to learn your dkp balance before bidding.
(5) GTFO can be found on Curse Forge
If you never have a problem with standing in fire, you probably won’t need GTFO. If you need a warning to let you know you are in the bad stuff, this addon can be very helpful.
(6) Recount can be found on both Curse Forge and WoWAce.
It is an addon that most all raiders use and is excellent for providing on the fly combat information. In Core it is intended for personal use only and is not to be linked in any chats during raid time. Recount is often the culprit causing latency issues so a raider will be expected to disable this addon if experiencing latency issues.
