Officer role: Responsibilities, Expectations

All Officers in Core are expected to promote and maintain a respectful, mature and friendly atmosphere in which guild and raid team members can thrive and grow. They are expected to be knowledgeable with Core’s raid team in order to provide feedback when reviewing performances. Officers are expected to attend weekly officer meetings and to be able to fill-in/assist with at least one other officer position when needed, due to vacations, sicknesses, holiday absences, etc. Officers are expected to take time to listen to the requests/questions/suggestions from their class members and handle appropriately in a timely manner.

Class Officers:

Ranged: Talir
Melee: Raxion
Healing: Neuman
Tanking: Mushkin

The duties of these officers are:

--Designates the specific raid duties of their respective classes such as cd,s, kicks, spell steals, etc.

-- Assists and oversees the readiness of class members: i.e. enchants, gems, specs

-- Works with class members who need to make playstyle changes in order in improve performance

-- Encourages member communication and feedback which results in positive suggestions and ideas to improve raid effectiveness and thus progression

-- Assists with interviewing their respective classes for initiate positions

-- Gives feedback and advice to raid team on who to bring and put on standby

-- Oversees the inclusion/exclusion of their classes for nightly raids and is responsible for informing their classes who will raid in which half of the raid (if any will not be included for the entire raid).

-- Serves as a chain of command resource for their respective classes to assist with any raid/guild related issues that occur

Bank Officer

-- Runs day to day bank needs

-- Sells items to AH for guild bank needs

-- Oversees distribution of bank mats to members, i.e. gems, enchants, flasks

-- Determines prices and sells guild bank items to members

Raiding Officers are as follows:

Raid Preparedness Officer

Raganar

-- Determines the raid readiness for each pull and communicates to the raid leader that the raid is ready for a pull (flasks and food buffs on)

-- Responsible for raid attendance: maintains the raid list for standbys, what times raiders enter/leave a raid

-- Responsible for having class officers replace any raiders who are causing delays due to dc’s, afks, lag, etc.

Raid Leader:

-- Oversees raid composition for each raid and works with class officers in building the raid team

-- Gives instructions to the raid and is responsible for ensuring each raider understands the basics of each encounter

-- Reviews and studies the strats the raid will use for each boss

-- Is responsible for raid balance

-- Maintains raid flow to prevent downtime

-- Reviews logs and raid performance to improve overall performance


GM:

-- Maintains dkp system

-- Maintains the website

-- Directs the Officers

-- Oversees the guild direction/policies and serves as the final chain of command on any issues that arise

-- Responsible for raid/guild recruiting

-- Serves as Officer secretary and is responsible for relaying Officer meeting decisions to the guild
