DKP Policy

Dkp is accrued by:

(1) 4 points per hr of progression raid time; accrued in ½ hr increments
2 points per hr of farm raid time; accrued in 1/2 hr increments
(2) 3 points for a boss kill
(3) 3 points for being ontime at the raid- ontime is defined as being in the raid zone between 6:30and 6:55pm server and joining an “ontime” raid (for posting purposes)
(4) Bonus: 5 points per week (distributed on Monday) for guild donations.
(a) A donation is considered to be mats, gold, time/effort. The lowest level mats, such as silver mackerel or green gems will not qualify for a dkp bonus. If in doubt if your donations qualifies, please ask an officer.
(b) Gold donations must be traded or mailed to an officer because they cannot be accurately tracked via the bank tab. The tab only holds 25 transactions and repairs quickly hide donation transactions.
(c) time and effort devoted to guild issues also qualify - such as complining and posting raid vids, bringing us needed recruits, etc.

Most raid nights we will earn around 30dkp ( or 60 per week), NOT including the donation bonus. Donations will raise your weekly dkp accruals to around 65. The exact amount earned depends on how many bosses die.

Minimum bid per item is 40kdp

DKP is spent by:

Bidding will be by silent bid (whisper) to the loot master. Those bidding will be announced and the winning bid will be announced and loot awarded. There will be no auction or re-bidding on an item. One bid taken by all interested then the loot is awarded to the highest bidder. In case of a tie (1) those tying will /roll and the high roll will receive the item at the tied bid amount or (2) those who tie can opt to bid higher.

DKP is tracked by:

The amount of dkp spent during each raid will be reflected in the bidders total THE FOLLOWING DAY after the raid upload. The correct amount of dkp per raider will be always be listed on the web site under a link titled DKP.

This will be updated after each night’s raid. Dkp can be tracked from inside the raid with an addon called Bidder

It is a low resource, non-configurable addon that provides a drop down menu listing every raider and their dkp balances. This is ONLY visible in a raid group. This too will be updated AFTER each night’s raid.


DKP SPENDING PRIORITY:

Spending priority is awarded as follows:

(1) Officers and Raiders have equal dibs on spending dkp.
(2) Initiate rank will be offered the opportunity to bid on loot after Officers and Raiders.
(3) Casuals/guests/trial raiders will only be offered loot if no Core member needs.
